Went here on a Thursday evening and it was fairly empty. Our server was great, the beer was cold, the place was clean. The food was expensive, but that wasn't the problem. I just don't know how it's possible to make bad fish and chips. Ok, the chips were fine. The fish was tough. Seriously, it was tough. The outside wasn't burned, it didn't see over cooked, but it sucked. I never have to go there again, and I suggest you resist the urge.

Crab is the best! Dungeness BBQ or nothing!

Food was good..... However our experience was awful! Julie was a decent waitress until her and her arrogant male friend began discussing "lazy" " worthless" BEANERS! That was a little bit disgusting!! If this is the type of establishment that supports those views I'll NEVER come back!!!

So far, we've been waiting 10 minutes for a table and nobody has even talked to us. 50% or more tables empty.... rude employees to glance at us & keep walking. Especially for the hostess.... Found out there are only 2 waitresses here. Everyone called in. Where are all the managers?? At least we can sit on deck next to playground. Sweet.

Wow. What a great dinner. We had the shared pot of Joes Classic, and it was fabulous. Even the Corn on the Cob was incredibly good. I think our waitress really took it to the next level for us. Her name is Windi and she was not only very attentive but she was a lot of fun also. We drove up from Davis County just to go to Joes. It was well worth it. Thanks Joes! And thanks to Windi.

Don't come here expecting class by any means...from the location to the clientele. We stopped in because the sushi place near by wasn't open until 3:30 and I was hungry NOW and wanted sea food dammit! So I ended up here. I mean, it's family-ish, and chain-ish, and it's DECENT priced for what it is I suppose. I still feel like it should be somewhat cheaper considering all it really is, is a Chili's geared towards seafood. I got the red snapper, and it wasn't horrible. The muscles in garlic sauce for the appetizer were my favorite part. My girl got a steam pot. Never have I been more attracted than seeing my girlfriend crack open half a steamed lobster with her hands and suck lobster meat out from under her nails. Sexy! And I thought only oysters an aphrodisiac.

Me and my husband went to try it out tonight. We thought the service was a bit slow. I had the fish and shrimp, my husband had the Orlean bucket. It wasn't very filling for us. I hated the fries and the prawns were s small with little meat. I don't think we'll ever go back.

Came here on a Saturday early evening. The staff was VERY friendly. We ordered the 30$ bucket of garlic herb Alaskan king crab. They accidentally brought out the wrong bucket and we hadn't realized until half way through the bucket. Our sweet waitress ended up giving us our right order for free! Both buckets tasted amazing. So needless to say, we felt five stars was in order. The best thing to happen to us all weekend in uppity Mormon town HAHA. We were feeling #blessed and full before our flight back to Cali. THANK YOU STAFF!

I have given this location about six tries and it's left me disappointed every time. From the quality of the food to the service. Last visit we waited 10 minutes for the servers to finally decide who was going to wait on our table, when we finally did get our drinks and food I had to send my crab back. It was dry and was very apparent that it had been sitting under heat lamps for a LONG time. The next portion that came out wasn't even half of what it should be. I will be sticking to the Jordan Commons location from here on out.

I went in here around lunchtime on a Thursday. The hostess was very nice I had a quick conversation then sat down. I ended up sitting for 15 minutes while the hostess, manager, and server talked and completely ignored us. Me and my wife waited then just got up and left and said something to the manager on our way out. He chased us out saying he would buy us a free appetizer but we declined. I love Joe's food but this place does not meet expectations. Drive out to state street if you want Joes in the Central Valley.

Special treats here family's favorites Samuel Adams bucket! So good you get lobster, mussels, crab, andouille sausage, and potatoes! My 3 yr old loved his the moza sticks shrimp and fries bucket. Pretty good sometimes the stuff can be over cooked we can tell cause the shells no longer crunched but soft. Well in well good!

The food was marginally acceptable, but when your menu features an item such as lobster in nearly half of your entrees, your wait staff should know they don't have any in stock (on 3 PM Saturday at a seafood place?) when you order, not fifteen minutes after the appetizers arrive! We drove a hour just for the lobster but had to settle for something else. We had an order of steamed clams, but 3/4 of them were served unopened--either dead before cooking or undercooked. Either way a health risk. Service was abysmal! I had nothing but ice cubes in my glass for 5 minutes at a time. They offered a discount 'next time' but I have no intention of darkening their door again.

I went in not expecting much as dining here was the choice of my girlfriend's retired father, so I wasn't disappointed. The food was good enough based on it being a franchise restaurant and the service was adequate. The wait staff doing line dancing and singing to various songs was something I could do without, but it comes with the Crab Shack experience so maybe kids would enjoy it, I don't know. The prices were fair and the parking is more than adequate. In summary, it is not fine dining, but if you're there for the sake of others, you can probably do worse.

The food was terrible, we went to lunch on Sunday. I had the fish and chips and they were dreadful. If you want to know how to mess up french fries ask these guys. The service was bad. The waiter disappeared for long periods of time. There were 3 servers and a hostess and 4 tables were occupied and our server was gone. Do not go. Food was terrible, service was worse and the prices only made me angrier. Now I remember why I only go there once every 2 years. It is about that long before I forget how bad they are.

I am not new to Joe's Crab Shack. I've been coming here for years. Sometimes the food is fantastic and other times it's mediocre. The last time I came, I had the crawfish half and half. The crawfish etoufee was the best etoufee I've had since my trip to New Orleans (that etoufee was way better than Joe's, just to clarify)! I wish they had a large plate of just that.

Really good crab leggs. Crab nachoes were fantastic

Went out to dinner on a Wednesday night. Shared Mahi tacos with my husband. I wasn't a big fan of them, thought they were rather dry, but my husband really enjoyed them. Also shared the 2 pound spicy shrimp with sausage. Most deff enjoyed that and the patio punch drink. Waiter was attentive to us and provided everything we needed. Decor very "shacky" but also outdated. Still, very clean and pleasant place. Will deff be returning.

I forgot how hungry I leave this place. A bucket of crab isn't filling- duh me. The potatoes helped fill the space. Corn was awful, tasted hard, and not fresh. Like frozen corn quality. Is it really a detriment to your finances to get fresh corn? The crab was good. Service was good.
